Sister to our So Coco Rouge salon is The Rouge School. Here we offer up to date, industry standard make-up artist training. Our tutors all have many years of experience working in all aspects of the make-up industry, backed up with teaching experience and qualifications.
Our make-up course content is regularly updated to meet with the needs of this fast paced industry. This ensures that you are ready to make a dent in the make-up world as soon as you complete your training with us.
At The Rouge School we offer an in-depth 12 session course, broken down into 3 modules, which can be completed individually. In addition, we have two further stand alone courses, which you may wish to embark on, once your make-up training with us is complete.
We also offer single training days, for those who have previously qualified and feel they need support in individual techniques or aspects of their application.

The Ultimate Make-up Artist Training
12 Sessions – £1200
The recommended starting ground for any aspiring make-up artist. This course covers all aspects of make-up, and is suitable for complete beginners or those with some experience.
Module One – Special Occasion Make-up

- Commercial photographic make-up
- Editorial photographic make-up
- Current catwalk trends
- Vintage inspired make-up
- Building a brand using social media and online tools
During this module students will be set additional work, designing and creating make-up looks from home.
Module Three – SFX Make-up
3 Sessions – £300
- Script breakdown and working professionally on set
- Designing a character make-up
- SFX techniques such as bruising, burns, bullet wounds
- Current Halloween Trends
Hair Styling Training
3 Sessions – £300
The ideal add on for those wishing to establish a special occasion or bridal business.
Airbrush Make-up Training
1 Session- £100
On this course you will learn all the necessary skills to create a flawless base for airbrush bridal makeup including highlight, contour, blusher, colour matching, airbrush maintenance and cleaning.
No previous airbrush experience necessary just a basic understanding of regular makeup application.
